I don&amp;#39;t have an...</title><content type='html'>Thanks for the reply Harriet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don&amp;#39;t have any formal training in painting, so I discover things as I go along. My biggest learning was changing to using &amp;#39;proper&amp;#39; oil paints. In my case Michael Harding. Most of my painting is done in the studio so I have the luxury of having lots of things on hand. I&amp;#39;ve started experimenting with liquin and also stand oil/turps mix for making lovely rich glazes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have to thank you actually for another bit of my learning. I mix colours on the palette with a knife now.
