I've been working on a large painting in the studio since before Christmas.
This is longer than I usually spend on one piece, but this is a complex scene and composition that I've been thinking about for a long time.
I'm hoping the effort I've put in will show in the finished piece, which I'll post here when it's finished.

Harriet, I am always looking foward to your next Blog post. Your work and comments give me drive and incentive to keep on painting no matter how many times I have quit or want to quit. I would love to see a short Vid. of you actually painting as I am sure others would too.

An excellent comment by Tony. A painting montage or a video would do the trick. I'm always fascinated how artists work, as when I paint it is chaotic, and unplanned so trying to understand painters who plan a creation then come back to a painting time and time again fascinates me.
Well there is a challenge.
Maybe one day this year I'll set up a video camera in the studio.
I'd have to hope that I forget It is there otherwise It wont be properly natural.
Harriet, I've often thought I could learn a lot if I could watch you paint. I know there aren't opportunities for that so a video would be great.
