Labour Of Love

This week I am at one of my favourite spots on the banks of the river Stour.

I have been sitting out for long periods of time in the bitter cold.

A passing dog-walker remarked "That's a real labour of love".

She was right.

Wow! This painting is looking great.

Beautiful colour tones and dynamic marks.

I especially like the marks forming the distant trees against the sky. Uncertain, but certain if there can be such a thing.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks Paul.
I re worked the painting again today.
The painting goes through so many changes, and its hard to know when to stop.
Will upload photos of today's session later.
It is certainly tiring working outside on this large scale...
